Exact Dynamic Characteristic Analysis of Steel-Concrete Composite Continuous Beams

چکیده

The free vibration characteristics of steel-concrete composite continuous beams (SCCCBs) are analyzed based on the Euler–Bernoulli beam theory. A modified dynamic direct stiffness method has been developed, which can be used to analyze SCCCBs with some lumped masses and elastic boundary conditions. results obtained by proposed exact due elimination approximated displacement force fields in derivation. is verified comparing its those ANSYS software laboratory tests. Nonlinear Time-Dependent Behavior of Composite Steel-Concrete Beams

This paper presents a mixed finite element model for the nonlinear time-dependant analysis of composite beams with partial shear connection. The key idea is to consider, as a first approach, a viscoelastic/plastic model for the concrete slab in order to simulate the interaction between the time effects of concrete, such as creep and shrinkage, and the concrete cracking. Creep is taken into acco...

Long-term Stress of Simply Supported Steel-concrete Composite Beams

The theoretical model to compute the long-term stress of simply supported steel-concrete composite beam was deduced. The model includes the effects of steel bars in concrete slab, concrete shrinkage and creep. The computed results agreed well with the test results. On this basis, the effects of factors such as concrete age to loading, longitudinal reinforcement ratio in concrete slab, concrete ...

Influence of Shear Connection Distributions on the Behaviour of Continuous Steel-concrete Composite Beams

For this purpose a finite element model specifically developed for the nonlinear analysis of steel-concrete composite beams is adopted. This finite element model includes material nonlinearity of slab concrete, reinforcement steel, beam steel as well as slabbeam nonlinear partial interaction due to the deformable shear connection. The inclusion of the partial interaction in the composite beam m...

Finite Element Instability Analysis of the Steel Joist of Continuous Composite Beams with Flexible Shear Connectors

Composite steel/concrete beams may buckle in hogging bending regions. As the top flange of I-beam in that arrangement is restricted from any translational deformation and twist, the web will distort during buckling presenting a phenomenon often described as restricted distortional buckling. There are limited studies available in the literature of restricted distortional buckling of composite st...

Finite Element Response Sensitivity Analysis of Steel-Concrete Composite Beams with Deformable Shear Connection

The behavior of steel-concrete composite beams is strongly influenced by the type of shear connection between the steel beam and the concrete slab. For accurate analytical predictions, the structural model must account for the interlayer slip between these two components. In numerous engineering applications e.g., in the fields of structural optimization, structural reliability analysis, and fi...
